Commercial Standing Mowers

Standing style mowers allow the operator to stand on a platform to operate the machine. A close cousin to the walk behind mower, the standing style mower offers higher ground speeds, more powerful engines and higher lawn cutting production. Stander mowers decrease operator fatigue over commercial walk behinds. Because you are standing, these mowers allow you to absorb some of the bumps with your knees, instead of your back or neck. Some of the Standing style mowers offer spring loaded platforms for added dampening. Anyone who has bounced around a rider knows that it can be hard on your back. Another advantage comes in the way of trailer space savings. Most Standers take up a fraction of the space of a mid or front mount mower.

The machine is built well with a suspension platform to stand on. It's very comfortable to run. Wright offers a heavy duty line of standing styler mowers for professional use. The basic model is the "Stander". The middle model that most people want is the Stander RH or Stander X. The largest Wright model is the Stander ZK. The entire Wright mower lineup is built with heavy duty welded steel decks from 32 to 61 inches. Big horsepower options are available to 31 horsepower. Certain models lines have a suspension platform to take some of the shock of a bumpy lawn. If you have walk behind mowers now, a stander is a good move to increase production. You will see a healthy increase in the number of lawns you can cut in a day.
