Mini Skid Steers

Mini Skid Steer Loaders are another piece of equipment that has proved its worth on the landscape. Similar to skid steer loaders, the mini skid steer offers the flexibility to add several attachments. Mini skid steers do many of the same things the larger skid loaders do, only less at a time. Still, the strength and power of a mini skid steer can be used to move dirt, load low trucks, plow snow, mix cement, auger footings and even break up concrete. Mini skid steers range in size from 13 hp to 25 hp diesels. Most mini skid steers weigh around 2,000 lbs. without attachments mounted. They can pick up around 500 lbs. Consult the equipment manual or sales consultant before you overload one!

Toro Dingo Mini Skid Steers

Toro makes a heavy duty and powerful mini skid steer in the Dingo. I've personally used the wheeled 22 HP version and was impressed with the hydraulic power and speed that the bucket will move. It's versatile and just big enough. I could load dirt over the back of the gate on a 2wd F350 dump. With the right attachment, you can get just about any landscape or light construction task done.
